Hello! I just got home from church and want to give an update. For those of you who just signed up your e-mail and this is your first update, thank you so much for your support! I presented my trip at church today and God did provide. So here's the update. P.s. at the bottom is how to get around the site!

Prayer: Yeah! I had so many people come up to me and commit to pray for me. That beyond anything is awesome. I met some awesome people and got to share my story... a lot, which is great! It is a comfort and encouragement to know that people are blessing me with their prayers. Yea for praying!

Financially: All of the money I raise is going straight to AIM so this will all be in the mail shortly. 

out of the $6,900 (plus $1800) towards AIM for general cost and plane ticket I have raised: $4197!!

Plus: $300 a month in pledges. YA!!!!!!!! There also were a lot of people that got information and said they would go online or send in the AIM slip. So the ROUGH total of what i have raised (calculating that the monthly is eight months) is: $6597! How sweet is that! I have saved up to pay for one plane ticket to africa and the one to Georgia. So that means I have roughly (again) $2,000 left to raise.

God has blessed me with prayer supporters and financial supporters and just amazing people that I was able to talk with. How cool is God? Actually that doesn't deserve a question mark. How cool is God! When I heard Pastor Keita telling the congregation about my trip I started crying. I feel so blessed and just astounded. Thank you all!

I am leaving for 10 days tomorrow on a road trip to a Christian concert festival. I was a nanny for two weeks and managing kids for two weeks is now going to help me jump up and down at a rock concert! Go nanny jobs!
