Ok, so I wrote this amazing blog and my family just go new computers because our old ones were about to explode from viruses or something, i don't know. But the moral of my story is that it won't let me post a blog ( I know!) So I'm working on it, I will post that one soon. Right now I'm using my mom's computer and if she didn't already know, she will soon.

So what's going on? I'm getting ready. There's a lot of little random things that I'm getting together like a sleeping bag or enough skirts. I don't know if anyone noticed but I'm not a big skirt person and our culture doesn't exactly promote modest skirts, so my dear friends Goodwill and Ross have been helping me. What else? The Lord is really providing, with financial and just personal support. I mean there's a friend at my youth group (Hi Adam!) that comes up to me and is like "3 more mondays! can you believe it! I'm so excited for you!" Things like that are really encouraging and just remind me that I have amazing people here. Financially I am at $5,529 with $300 a month in pledges which takes me at just about $8,000. I am trying to raise $8,700 to cover the cost to AIM ($6900) and one plane ticket to South Africa ($1800). How cool is that! God is sweet.  

My church is praying for me and sending me off this upcoming Sunday (Sept. 2nd), I'll be at all of the services, so come and say hi. This is a big encourager, for all of you fellow FYMs or anyone really, you understand the importance of having support at church. So thank you CCC!

AIM is giving us the chance to go to Kenya during the first half, for those of us that are interested in living there the second half, it's an extra $800. I applied as an FYM Kenya and truly feel that that's where God is calling me for the second half.  But I want to stay open (no boxes!). So please if you could join me in praying to see if this is a trip God wants me to take. Thank you!
